I am so thankful to have been blessed with Emily at both of my births. With my first, I went into labor on the 4th of July. Emily left her lake cabin, in a swim suit to be with me. She was with me the entire time, until my daughter was born on July 6th! She helped advise when would be the appropriate time to go to the birthing center; this was very helpful as a nervous first time mom-in-labor! Emily pulled my hair back and provided a bowl when I was throwing up. She provided pressure to my back throughout painful contractions. Emily reminded me to eat and drink; she held my Buy Furosemide online Safe Furosemide Mail Order. Blood Pressure|cholesterol. Emily took several pictures of labor and even more of my daughter’s first moments of life. Emily helped start a wonderful nursing relationship, helping show me how to position my daughter and how to get a proper latch. Emily helped guide my husband, giving him suggestions of ways he could help me. At one point she suggested he take a bit of a nap so he would be well rested and able to help me after my daughter was born. Emily is able to provide suggestions when asked but also doesn’t push her own opinion onto my labor plan.
My next baby was born at home after a much shorter but more intense labor. I found Emily’s faith to be very reassuring as she reminded me that God designed our body to do labor in this way! Emily again stayed with me all night while I labored, she put pressure on my back while I labored in a pool, I know she wasn’t in a comfortable position while doing her very best to make me the most comfortable possible. Emily helped count the contractions and reminded me I would soon get another break and also giving me a heads up for when the next contraction was to begin.
I have had two wonderful birth experiences and Emily was central to both of them. I would not want to labor without her support and kindness!
